Depuis 12 ans, la Galerie Binome a établi son statut sur la marché de l’art à travers ses recherches de nouvelles formes en photographie. S’intéressant aux expérimentations sur la matérialité et les supports de l’image, la sélection des œuvres établit notamment des dialogues avec la sculpture et le dessin, ou avec des matériaux traditionnels comme le textile. Pour sa quatrième participation à Art Rotterdam, la Galerie Binome réunit les œuvres de quatre femmes artistes, figures établies de la scène française et internationale. Toutes bénéficient d’une actualité d’expositions et de publications importantes, dont le stand se fait l’écho.
Over the past 12 years, Galerie Binome has established its position on the art market through its research into new forms of photography. Interested in experimentations with the materiality and media of the image, the selection of works establishes dialogues with sculpture and drawing, or with traditional materials such as textiles. For its fourth participation at Art Rotterdam, Galerie Binome brings together works by four women artists, all established figures on the French and international scene. All of them currently have works in institutional exhibitions.
