Depuis 10 ans, la Galerie Binome explore les nouvelles formes et les limites de la photographie. Pour sa troisième participation à Art Rotterdam, la Galerie Binome propose un group show de quatre artistes établis, bénéficiant tous d’une forte actualité. La sélection des œuvres désoriente le spectateur dans le rapport au medium, entre photographie et dessin, dans le rapport d’échelle, entre architecture et maquette. Image pivotante ou image séquence, objet d’atelier ou objet virtuel, les œuvres surprennent aussi par les jeux d’optique et de mouvement.
Since 10 years, the Binome Gallery has been exploring new forms and limits of photography. For its third participation in Art Rotterdam, Binome Gallery presents a group show of four established artists, all with a strong current exposure. The selection of works disorients the viewer in the relationship to the medium, between photography and drawing, in the relationship of scale, between architecture and model. Whether a rotating or sequential image, a studio object or a virtual object, the works also surprise with their optical and movement games.
